I bought the kids Easter baskets a few weeks ago... I like to be prepared :)
I got the three matching felt baskets from Kmart, I thought these were really cute and great value for only $2!
But, then I found this one....
I think the basket was $12.95.... it's so beautiful.
I'm off to Myers mid season sale tonight, so hopefully I'll find another one.
Easter flashback.....
I was flicking through one of my facebook albums and found these photos.
When Miss 8 was Miss 5....
Master 9 loved this cars Easter basket when he was Master 6... now it's hidden away in the top of his cupboard.
Today, the kids have a free dress day at school.
They had to wear red and white to raise money for Japan.
Can I just say.... thank goodness they wear school uniforms every other day!
Master 9 upcycled these shorts himself.
We were shopping one day and he wanted me to buy some cut off shorts like this at Cotton On Kids.
I told him we could make them.
So, he found some old jeans that were too short, they were a size 5... he cut and folded them all by himself.
They look just that same and we saved $30.
It's my day off today... woohoo!
Time to get my craft on.
Love Nikki xx

Does it break your mama's heart a bit to look back and see them little again? It would mine,,dang, they grow up too fast! Love their cuteness at both ages :D
My son has the exact same Cars basket, his is also in the top of his closet now. Your kiddos are adorable.

Thanks girls... they grow up too quick :(
When my son was 6, he wanted a Cars bedroom. We laminated some posters and bought some other things to decorate his room. Last week, as we were packing his room for a move, he decided to leave most of those things behind. He is also 9. I guess it just must be time for the next stage of childhood!
