Easter smores.... and a GIVEAWAY!

Last weekend we had a little tea party with our friend Teagen.
Bakers delight hot cross buns.... traditional fruit, chocolate and mocha.....
The kids decided to get a little creative... and created a Easter smore.
How to make an Easter smore....

Take one yummy hot cross bun.... spread nutella {needs to be really thick ;) }.....
Roast marshmallows {two at a time speeds things up}....
 Add lightly roasted marshmallow....
 And enjoy!
Yummy!
 Hot cross bun + nutella + M&M's = Miss 8's other creation.
Miss 6 loved the Easter smores.... they were finger licking good :D
Do you like our Easter tree centrepiece?
It was very easy to make....
Step 1 - collect branches from your backyard and tie together.
Step 2 - spray with white paint.
Step 3 - While the paint is wet, sprinkle glitter.  I used a pearly coloured glitter... it looks so pretty.
Step 4 - add pretty Easter decorations.

You are so talented, I'm hooked on your blog now. :) Yes, I'd love to win....really wish I lived in Australia. But I'll settle for the rest, that bunny is so cute and my girls would love those ear clips. :) To be honest I've never had a hot cross bun, but the chocolate would definitely be something I would love. ;) I'm a sucker for chocolate. ;)

Lovely! As a child, we always had hot-cross buns for Easter, but my kids have never liked them. However, I think if we made smores using your kids' recipe, they would eat them right up! BTW, I also like your idea of blogging on bargain-shopping. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! What a beautiful blog! Your photo's and kids are divine! So very clever! I shall be back to get my daily dose of loveliness tomorrow!
My absolute favourite hot cross bun are the Bakers Delight chocolate ones, lightly toasted with oodles of butter, and cruncky peanut butter. It's a kind of 'snickers' hot cross bun affair!

Firstly, what an amazing blog. So glad I found you (via aussiemummybloggers). I simply cannot believe people really create such beautiful settings outside of a magazine spread. I absolutely HAVE to try nutella and toasted marshmallows on Hot Cross Buns, it might even beat eating copious amounts of Red Tulip!
I must admit, until recently I preferred the traditional fruit Hot cross Buns but teh Bakers delight Mocha are AMAZING!!!! Yummm. So clearly I live in Australia. And I definitely frequent Bakers Delight more at Easter than any other time - I wonder why? Thank you for a great post!

What a cute little tea party!

I've only ever had one (bite of) hot cross bun my entire life. I never realized there were different flavours! This is something I must try out. My son on the other hand, was having morning tea the other day with friends and apparently ate two whole buns. He said it tasted like raisin bread.

I'm new to Australia from Canada :)

I love the stuff you re-create! So talented! I love chocolate chip ones or the mocha hot cross buns. Enjoyed with some nice hot chocolate, cup of Earl Grey or coffee...making me drool now.

What a smart idea to turn the hot cross buns into smores!!

What fun! I think the ones with fruit are very popular here...I don't usually eat them, but I'm sure they're good! Thanks for the fun! ♥

Not sure of the time difference, but if its not too late I'd love to be included in your giveaway. Favourite flavour of hot cross buns is tradional (its the only type I've tasted) although I must admit that I just made hot cross buns for the first time and they were YUMMY! SOOOO much better than shop bought :-)
