Want to make one of these cute flower clips?
Here's how....
Take one piece of silky material... satin lining etc,
and one cute little assistant.
Start by cutting the smallest circle first.
I don't use a template, they don't have to be perfect.
I usually cut around 9 circles, each one slightly bigger than the last.
Hold your circle {shiny side towards the flame}
just above the flame and turn.
just above the flame and turn.
The heat will melt the edges.
*Master 9 didn't do this step, he just posed for the photo*
But he did stack them for me....
Hand sew the stack of circles and sew on a button.
I usually hot glue a piece of felt on the back but I don't have any at the moment... so, I used some denim material.
Then glue on the alligator clip....
Wait a few minutes....
Love Nikki xx

Thank you (and Master 9!) - I now have another project for the list :)
Wow very cool!! These look pretty straight forward to make and are beautiful!
This is a very sweet idea - I just followed you so that I can read all about your clever ideas. I also have a blog and I'd love for you to check it out. BTW, I discovered you on a comment from Mommy Monologues. :)

Thank you for this tutorial, I'm subscribing (came from UBP) but stopped when I saw all these neat little things you were doing. I have 4 kids, 2 of which are girls and now wanting me to go buy the silk. :)
This is so cool!
I love it when I see things like this, because I'm not crafty. I would probably have to spend a fortune on something like that! They are so pretty!
What a cool project. I want to do this but make a bouquet of flowers for a dinner party coming up. Looking forward to reading more of your posts. Thanks for the follow...I have returned it.

OMG! That's fabulous. I'm going to make some for my girls! They will love them especially my middle daughter. Any tips on making one look a little more sassy or mature for my 19-year-old daughter?
I'm psyched! This is the first time I've seen a how to on a blog that I'm definitely going to do.
Love your Easter center piece as well. You have me feeling creative and I think I'm going to take that idea and do it for an accent piece or something for a spot in my home. Thanks so much!
Oh, of course I found you from UBP11 and I love your blog! :-)
very nice.. i love them! I think I wanna use these kinds of flowers, but for earrings... not sure if flowers that small will work, but I can try! =P
Beautiful! Definitely making these for my girls, perhaps in their easter basket this year!
