Twins ;-)

 The before....
Two matching Pumpkin Patch dresses {size 4 and 7}.
The girls used to love wearing these matching dresses.
Miss 6 grew out of the size 4 and now she wears the size 7.
I got an email from Lisa.... asking for photos of how I repurpose the Pumpkin Patch dresses into skirts.
Step 1...
Step 2.....
Overlock raw edges, turn back top to make a band, iron, pin and sew.
Step 3... thread elastic and sew gap.
So easy, takes about 15 minutes.
Miss 6 {wearing the size 7} and Miss 8 {wearing the size 4}

Twins again... well, sort of :)

Repurposed Pumpkin Patch outfit....

Good evening :)

Today's repurposed outfit is this beautiful green and pink skirt.
Before...
This dress was one of my favourite Pumpkin Patch dresses.
I loved it on the girls... I just love the material.
I unpicked the top of the dress... no sewing needed.
So quick and easy.
I had a lovely day off today with Orsen {my husband},
my heart is happy :)

Repurposed Pumpkin Patch outfit...

Today's repurposed outfit is this skirt.
It was a size 7 Pumpkin Patch dress,
that was too short for the girls.
I cut, sewed, threaded elastic and voila.... a skirt.
I also made a matching hair clip.... with covered button.
I'm heading off to work soon.
I hope you're having a wonderful day :D

Outfit #3

Today, I worked a 9 hour shift theatre shift, which didn't leave long to upcycle an outfit.
So I chose one of my old skirts, which was quick and easy.
The skirt and hair tie took about 20 minutes to make.
The skirt length was ok, so I just trimmed off some of the width and sewed it back together.
I made a flower hair clip from the excess material.
 Pretty cute!
 Miss 8 loves it!
