Ruffle flower hair tie.....

Yesterday, I made this flower clip...
 from this shirt....
Today, I made this... from the other front panel...
First I cut the front panel into two strips.
I made a ruffle by folding and sewing, so easy {I'll take some photos next time}.
Then melted the edges over a candle.
Then rolled and stitched.  Added the second ruffle and stitched on a hair tie.
 So cute!
I've still got the back panel... Hmmm, What to make next?
Who's been crafting?
I'm looking for more photos for the next 'You've been featured' post.

What delightful hair accessories! I love that you're using discarded clothing to create something new and beautiful! And speaking of beautiful...your "monkeys" and your photography! You are a very gifted photographer. I so enjoyed looking through some of your past posts of your kiddos and photos.

You're so clever. My kids are learning about recycling at school... reduce, reuse and recycle. After going on the council's educational bus the other day... it made me think of your blog. Reduce, reuse, recycle... This could be your motto!
BTW - Your daughters are gorgeous!
